Description

The Cooperator will provide student interns (graduate or undergraduate) to support operations of the Cumberland Piedmont Network Inventory and Monitoring Program. This collaborative partnership will be formed to assist the NPS with development, implementation, and/or data management components of official NPS monitoring protocols, while providing students with hands-on experiences in their fields of study. Our staff of interdisciplinary experts works with community groups, private landowners, nonprofit organizations, tribes, and federal, state, county, and local agencies to identify the resources, provide site planning and design, map the trail on the ground, and develop educational opportunities.
