This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is designed to provide support to the Government of Botswana (GOB) through the national Ministry of Health (MOH) in its pursuit of achieving epidemic control, UNAIDS 90-90-90 goals and priorities identified in MOH's strategic framework for HIV and AIDS, which establishes priority areas where increased attention is likely to have the greatest impact on preventing the further spread of HIV and AIDS in Botswana. The overall intent of this FOA is to reduce HIV morbidity and mortality to achieve key milestones by improving access to treatment and preventing new infections, together with strengthening the infrastructure and capacity of the public health systems to ensure sustainability. Main activity areas include: HIV testing and Counseling, Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision, Blood Safety, Prevention of Mother-To-Child Transmission, TB/HIV, Laboratory capacity, Surveillance and Strategic Information.
