Description

To conduct research on human infectious diseases in U.S-bound refugee populations. The emphasis will be on emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, neglected tropical diseases, tuberculosis, influenza, HIV/AIDS, zoonotic diseases, vector-borne and parasitic diseases, vaccine-preventable diseases, and other conditions of public health importance including chronic diseases, mental health, environmental health, maternal and child health, public health preparedness, biosafety, and injury control and prevention.
