Description
The US Geological Survey, John Wesley Powell Center for Analysis and Synthesis, is offering a funding opportunity to create a predictive framework for biological soil crust function and response to climate change. The purpose of this project is to understand functional consequences of global change for drylands, and generate a better conceptualization of how biocrusts are likely to respond to climate change and land use change.
