Description
The U.S. Geological Surveyâ¿¿s Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center (PCMSC, based in Santa Cruz, California) is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research on seafloor substrate and sedimentary properties offshore of southeastern Alaska. The USGS PCMSC research group will provide expertise in marine geology and sedimentology to ensure effective collaboration with a CESU partner to study marine substrates and sedimentary properties in a study of ecosystem characteristics and the influence of earthquakes, submarine landslides and seabed fluid seeps on seafloor habitat.
