Promoting Strategic Trade Controls and Nonproliferation in the Asia Pacific Region
ArchivedBureau of International Security-Nonproliferation
Description
The grantee will promote strategic trade controls and nonproliferation efforts in the Asia Pacific region through a series of workshops and meetings. All events should be conducted under the auspices of the Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia Pacific (CSCAP), the nongovernmental track of the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF). CSCAP Study Group meetings, especially those regarding nonproliferation and disarmament and maritime cooperation, are ideal vehicles to promote open and candid dialogue on significant regional security issues.
