The Professional Fellows Division in the Office of Citizen Exchanges at the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) invites proposals for the U.S. - Pakistan Professional Partnership for Journalists in Urdu Program. The two-way exchange program will promote improved knowledge and understanding of newsgathering strategies, media ethics, journalist safety in conflict zones, investigative reporting, and the business of journalism in the U.S. The program will also provide structured interaction between American and Pakistani journalists, which will contribute to stronger professional ties and lasting relationships between the two nations.
