Description

The BLM would like to partner with an organization to share in field data collection and analysis of information related to long-term monitoring of Arctic streams and lakes for the evaluation of potential impacts of oil and gas activities on physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of those habitats. In the past five years, the BLM and the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Water and Environmental Research Center (WERC) have shared in the information which has contributed to improved resources for public land management.
