Description
THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE SOURCE, AND THERE IS NO FULL ANNOUNCEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS NOTICE. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) intends to award a cooperative agreement to promote recovery of the Miami blue butterfly by attempting to restore new viable populations across a larger geographic range in south Florida on and near existing Florida Keys National Wildlife Refuges Complex lands. This Priority 1 activity has been identified in the federal draft Recovery Plan as necessary to prevent the extinction or irreversible decline of the Miami blue.
