This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service’s intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition. Recipient Agrees to: 1. Update and/or review Local River Management Plans for long term river value protection, and also provide limited technical assistance for CMP implementation. 2. Participate in municipal zoning and planning meetings when issues arise affecting the Maurice River and its resource values. 3. Plan and implement the enumerated goals of the CMP in partnership with the NPS, and in cooperation with the NJ Department of Environmental Protection, the New Jersey Pinelands Commission, and other NGO and river conservation interests. 4. Develop and produce interpretive exhibits, educational publications, other media and programs that interpret the rivers’ values. 5. Provide technical assistance and recommendations to the NPS, municipalities, other NGOs, and the State of New Jersey concerning the management of river values, consistent with CMP implementation.
