Description

This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service’s intention to award a task agreement under a previously single source justified master cooperative agreement. Specifically, the recipient will: 1. Collaborate with NPS and other partners on the development of common goals and objectives for the Appalachian Trail Landscape Partnership, including stakeholder coordination, communication, scientific evaluation, resource preservation, land protection, and education. 2. Secure the services of a professional facilitator to help lead the ATLP through organizational formation, stakeholder consensus-building, conservation goal-setting, and action plan development. 3. Plan and hold an annual partnership meeting with approximately 50-60 stakeholders. 4. Maintain a primary role in coordinating the activities of the ATLP, including partner and public communications, facilitating Steering Committee and working groups, identifying conservation priorities, and administrative record-keeping.
