Implementation of Natural Resource Projects at Lake Mead NRA

Description
The main objective of this cooperative effort is to conserve and manage natural resources on National Park Service land. Lake Mead NRA will collaborate with ACE to: (1) reconstruct and maintain trails in Lake Mead National Recreation Area, (2) decommission and rehabilitate abandoned roads and off-road vehicle disturbances along approved backcountry roads, (3) assess, repair, and construct off-road vehicle barriers and ungulate management fences in the backcountry of Lake Mead NRA, (4) engage in native plant salvage prior to construction activities at Lake Mead National Recreation Area (5) collect seed for the Lake Meadâ¿¿s Song Dog Native Plant Nursery (6) propagate plants at the Song Dog Native Plant Nursery and out plant plants onto National Park land.
