Implementation of Restoration Projects at Lake Mead NRA

Description
GBI manages the Nevada Conservation Corps (NCC) as one of its several programs. Partnering with federal and state agencies throughout the state of Nevada, the NCC provides training, work experience, and opportunities for environmental education to diverse youth across the state through conservation projects, such as wildland fuels reduction and trail restoration. The involvement of youth and young adults in natural resource restoration projects implementation stimulates the public purpose of resource conservation and training. Personnel from GBI and NPS will collaborate to undertake a project entitled ⿿Implementation of Restoration Projects at Lake Mead NRA⿝. This project, utilizing a NCC crew, will train youth and young adults in resource conservation field activities.
