Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), Midwest Region, is providing a single source grant agreement award without competition, to the University of Wisconsin-Madison to conduct a usability test and develop a business plan for the FishWerks decision support web tool (www.greatlakesconnectivity.org. Researchers with the University of Wisconsin-Madison are uniquely qualified to do this work because they developed and are currently hosting the web-based decision support tool. Conducting the usability study and planning for the future maintenance, hosting, and upgrading of FishWerks requires an intimate understanding of the background data and optimization model as well as the programs, code, and hardware necessary to support the web-based tool.
