Description

To provide support and assistance to Texas A&M AgriLife Research at Texas A&M University to conduct original research investigations into the taxonomy, phylogeny, population genetics, distribution and abundance of populations of rare East Texas mussels. Additionally, the project will include a preliminary identification of environmental stressors and a preliminary assessment of landscape condition of forested lands. Special attention will be paid to filling existing data gaps.
