Description

Project Description: This project entails the compilation of research and the development of a Historic Resource Study (HRS) report for Meridian Hill Park, Washington DC. This document will highlight the African American experience within the contexts of the post-civil war evolution of Meridian Hill as well as provide details related to important events and the evolution of the park, adjacent neighborhoods, and the American civil rights/social justice movement in general.
