Description

Funding is being provided to support conservation and recovery of the federally threatened Louisiana pearlshell. Specifically, this opportunity addresses the need for hydrologic monitoring and modeling to determine and address the level of threat to this species resulting from stream flow regimes within its current range. This financial assistance opportunity is being issued through a grant award. The statutory authority is the Endangered Species Act of 1973 (16 U.S.C. 1531-1544, 87 Stat. 884).
