Description

The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) announces the availability of funds for the 2018 Technical Assistance (TA) to the Survivors of Torture (SOT) program. The purpose of the TA SOT program is to ensure that survivors of torture have access to quality services by providing national technical assistance to centers of healing and other ORR-funded organizations serving survivors of torture. Technical assistance activities are focused on the dual objectives of: 1) building capacity to provide holistic and integrated services, and 2) evaluating and strengthening the quality and sustainability of these programs and organizations. Activities may include trainings, consultations, information sharing, maintaining online resources facilitating listservs, sharing evidence-based practices, conducting research, producing resources, facilitating organizational self-assessments, and promoting program evaluation and strategic planning.
