ArchivedCenters for Disease Control - NCHHSTP
Description
This program will strengthen the capacity of the HIV prevention workforce to optimally plan, implement, integrate, and sustain high-impact HIV prevention interventions and strategies to reduce HIV infections and HIV-related morbidity, mortality, and health disparities across the United States and its territories. This program will support acceleration of the nation’s progress toward a goal of no new HIV infections through two central priorities: 1) ensure that all people living with HIV are aware of their infection and successfully linked to medical care and treatment to achieve viral suppression and 2) expand access to pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), condoms, and other proven strategies for people at high risk of becoming infected.
