U.S. Mission to El Salvador

Description

The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, Cultural Heritage Center (“The Center”), through the U.S. Embassy in San Salvador, is accepting project abstracts and full applications for the U.S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) 2018 Large Grants Program. The Center requests project abstracts and, if selected to advance to Round 2, full applications for large-scale, partnership-based projects to preserve significant cultural heritage sites in developing countries through the U.S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP). The projects recommended for funding under this program should advance U.S. foreign policy objectives and demonstrate American commitment to the preservation and protection of cultural heritage in support of prosperity and stability around the world. The deadline for submitting project abstracts is December 29th, 2017. For abstracts that advance to Round 2, the submission deadline for full project applications is February 29th, 2018. Full implementation of the AFCP 2018 Large Grants program is pending the availability of FY2018 funds and an approved congressional spend plan.
