Description
The Department of State’s Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) within the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs Office of Assistance Coordination (NEA/AC) announces the Annual Program statement for local grants. The Local Grants Program serves as MEPI’s most direct means of supporting partnerships with and among the people of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), providing direct support to develop and promote innovative, locally driven solutions to problems, build and expand inclusive local networks, and help civil society organizations represent the needs of their citizens through collective action.Eligible Countries and Territories: In this announcement, we seek to support projects in Algeria, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, West Bank and Gaza, and Yemen.
