Through this amendment to solicitation 72052318APS00001, the United States Agency for International Development in Mexico (USAID/Mexico) is interested in exploring potential partnership opportunities with Mexican non and for-profit organizations to participate in USAID/Mexico’s Strategic Alliances for Mexico (SAM) Annual Program Statement.Through SAM, USAID/Mexico announces its desire to forge strategic alliances with local organizations and with the private sector in priority areas, as defined by the Government of Mexico (GOM) and the United States Government (USG). SAM is designed to increase the sustainability and impact of our development investments in Mexico in the following areas:(1) Crime and Violence(2) Rule of Law(3) Human Rights(4) Integrity and Transparency(5) Sustainable LandscapesThese areas are further elaborated in Section VII - Other Information, A - Program Funding Areas. USAID is particularly interested in promoting innovative approaches to working in the areas mentioned above but will also consider other areas identified by the GOM as areas of priority.SAM is not a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), nor a Request for Proposals (RFP). Instead, it is a call to receive potential partnership concept papers that take into consideration the private sector with the aim to explore possible alliances that could allow for a higher impact in our joint development objectives with the GOM.This solicitation requests a 2 page concept paper. Interested organizations must read this solicitation in its entirety and follow the instructions for submitting a concept paper.
