U.S. Mission to Pakistan

Description

PAS Islamabad invites all eligible organizations (see Section C for Eligibility Requirements) to submit proposals for grants to provide training to media professionals through one of the two programs specified in this NOFO. The two programs will address Embassy goals by helping counter extremist narratives—about regional integration and gender equality—and by helping to create a stronger free press in Pakistan. The first program will also seek to support the improvement of the trade and investment climate in order to sustain and create jobs and economic growth. The second program will empower Pakistani women both professionally and personally, which will help promote economic growth and development and counter violent extremism.
