This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) encourages applications from small business concerns for Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) projects that propose innovative research and development of technology for cryogenic or other long-term preservation and revival of Drosophila and zebrafish genetic stocks. The proposed technologies should be reliable, reproducible and cost effective for the long-term preservation and revival of wild type and laboratory created genetic stocks.
