This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) invites applications for studies of etiology and pathogenesis related to development of type 1 diabetes (T1D) and/or its complications. Studies must involve subjects enrolled and followed in clinical trials, long term follow-up, or observational studies. This opportunity is intended to fund collaborative projects that bring new expertise and innovative approaches to enhance the value of major ongoing clinical research projects.
