THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS. This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service’s intention to award a task agreement under a previously competed or single source justified master cooperative agreement. Twelve-person conservation corps will accomplish deferred maintenance projects, including trail work, on the Boston Harbor Islands and at sites in Charlestown Navy Yard (Boston National Historical Park). Work includes: - window glazing and repairs - restoration of flooring in the historic Commandant's House (CNY) - paint historic fence - open viewsheds to the USS Constitution - repair deteriorated benches - rehabilitate/stabilize historic structures on Peddocks Island - replace decorative finishes - paint building interiors - repair and replace historic windows - re-establish deteriorated turf (cultural landscape maintenance) - replace deteriorated fencing (design, build, install) - clear island trails
