Rehabilitate and Preserve Humpback Rocks Farm

Description
This project will perform major restoration and preservation repairs on the historic farm complex (5 structures) at Humpback Rocks in the vicinity of milepost 6 in BLRI. Work will be accomplished by park historic preservationists with assistance from local NPS staff, a youth crew from American Conservation Experience (ACE) â¿¿ one crew leader and four team members for eight weeks â¿¿ and/or volunteers (if available). Initial classroom and hands-on training in the proper methods and techniques of historic preservation and repair will be provided by the NPS Historic Preservation Training Center from Harpers Ferry, WV during the first two weeks of the project
