Strategic Communications for Counterterrorism Law Enforcement Officials -- Bangladesh

Closed

Bureau of Counterterrorism

Description

CT announces a NOFO for organizations interested in submitting proposals for a program to develop strategic communications capability specifically geared toward Bangladeshi law enforcement officials at the provincial level working to prevent and respond to terrorist threats and activities in their communities. The program should also develop the institutional framework needed to support a strategic communications function. Civilian security personnel in countries on the frontlines of terrorism, such as Bangladesh, oftentimes do not have the skills or institutional support to effectively communicate their mission and day-to-day operations to affected stakeholders such as community members, civil society, and the private sector, including through building relationships with media and establishing a social media presence.
