Description

The US Geological Survey, Northern Rocky Mountain Science Center (NOROCK), is offering a funding opportunity for statistical analyses and research related to inventory and monitoring projects. Of key import will be data related to whitebark pine within the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, submerged aquatic vegetation and developing state and transition models to inform management on FWS refuges in the intermountain west, bats across North America, and upland vegetation in sagebrush steppe ecosystems. Creation of useable code will be expected, preferably using Rmarkdown and Rshiny. Manuscripts will be prepared on research efforts and submitted to professional journals.
