Description
This is NOT a request for applications. This is just an announcement that the NPS has entered into an agreement with this recipient for the attached work. 1. The Recipient shall carry out the Statement of Work in accordance with the terms and conditions stated herein. The Recipient shall adhere to Federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and codes, as applicable.2. Assist the NPS in planning; coordinating and presenting community based cultural events, conferences, and programs such as the Lowell Folk Festival that relate to the goals, themes, and mission of the Park. Methods include weekly email news posting to members and subscribers, posting events and stories on Recipient website as well as Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism website and inclusion of various marketing publications such as “Travel & Tourism” planner, “History & Heritage” group planner and “Yankee Magazine.”3. Assist the Park in community outreach efforts to communicate Park programs and initiatives to increase awareness and stimulate public participation.4. Assist the Park with projects of mutual interest such as special events, which enhance the community’s cultural life, increase and diversify Park visitation, and further the interpretation and educational goals of the park.5. Assist in setting up meetings, workshops, and other logistical support as needed.
