Predictive Science Academic Allance Program III

NNSA

Description

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: Increase awareness of simulation-based predictive science and to strengthen large-scale, simulation-based predictive science research, training, and education in U.S. research universities. These research institutions generate basic and applied knowledge and train the people on which key NNSA missions depend. The restriction to Ph.D. granting universities enables intense intellectual training in predictive science research in environments that return a large multiplying factor to our economy. PSAAP increases the availability of unique experimental facilities sited at the NNSA laboratories to the academic community, particularly for collaborations in areas of relevance to stockpile stewardship.
