Description
The U.S. Geological Surveyâ¿¿s Fort Collins Science Center (USGS) is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research on channel change and forest age along the Yampa, Green and Little Snake Rivers in Wyoming, Colorado and Utah. Free-flowing rivers in arid and semi-arid regions of the western US transport large sediment loads and experience frequent large floods that maintain rapidly shifting multi-thread channels.
