Description

The Natural Resources Conservation Service - MontanaState Office, an agency under the United States Department of Agriculture(USDA), is seeking support from and opportunities to partner with likemindednatural resource conservation partners to develop community gardens, pollinatorgardens and/or seasonal high tunnels. The overall intent of this opportunity isto solicit partnerships to help enhance the implementation of key conservationobjectives and priorities outlined further in this document. Proposals will beaccepted from eligible entities for projects located in Montana. NRCSanticipates that the total amount awarded under this announcement in Federalfiscal year 2018 will be approximately $100,000. Proposals arerequested for competitive consideration of grant awards for one year induration from city or township governments, county governments, specialdistricts, state governments, nonprofitorganizations, independent school districts, institutions of higher education,and federally recognized Native American tribal governments
