Description

Notice of Intent to award a cooperative agreement to the Michigan Geological Survey, under the auspices of Western Michigan University, in support of the project entitled " Surficial Geologic Mapping in Cass County, Michigan; Twin Lakes and continuation of county map compilations with adjoining Van Buren, St. Joseph and Berrien counties". The main objective of the project is to map the surficial geology of the south half of the Twin Lakes 7.5-minute quadrangle in Cass County. This work will help delineate the occurrence and stratigraphy of aquifers and sand and gravel deposits in the region.
