Administration for Children and Families - OHS

Description

Through this announcement, the Administration for Children and Families solicits applications from public or private non-profit organizations, including community-based and faith-based organizations, or for-profit organizations that wish to compete for funds that are available to provide Head Start and/or Early Head Start services to children and families residing in Atchison, Brown, Doniphan, Jackson, Jefferson, Leavenworth, Marshall, Nemaha, and Pottawatomie Counties, Kansas. Funds in the amount of $5,123,658 annually will be available to provide Head Start and/or Early Head Start program services to eligible children and their families. • Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized)
• Public housing authorities / Indian housing authorities
• Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status (other than higher education)
• Nonprofits without 501(c)(3) status (other than higher education)
• Private institutions of higher education
• For-profit organizations other than small businesses
• Small businesses
