Description

The Wetland and Aquatic Research Center (WARC) of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research on characterization of wetland soil microbial communities using metagenomic methodologies. This opportunity will provide an avenue for assisting the USGS WARC with identifying the mechanisms that control soil carbon vulnerability, and ultimately improving national scale assessments of wetland carbon sequestration.
