Description
The National Wetland Inventory (NWI) was established by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) to produce a nationwide inventory of U.S. wetlands and surface waters that provides biologists and others with information on the distribution and type of theses features to aid in conservation efforts.
