Description
THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE SOURCE ANNOUNCEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS NOTICE. This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This funding opportunity is a notice of intent to award a single source grant to Envirosurvey, Inc. to help meet the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Serviceâ¿¿s (Service) need for recovery of threatened and endangered plant species in southwest Puerto Rico through the second phase of the Cooperative Recovery Initiative (CRI), an initiative that has been successfully implemented by this organization since 2014. The Service must base its decisions on the best science available, in order to defend its regulatory decisions, biological opinions and species conservation recommendations to land managers. This funding opportunity will help the Service to continue the recovery of the targeted species by the implementation of the second phase of the CRI to monitor the recovery actions implemented during Phase 1.
