Description

The US Geological Survey, John Wesley Powell Center for Analysis and Synthesis, is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research to develop a globally extensive database to characterize global variability in groundwater arsenic. The dataset will compile existing geochemical, hydrologic and geologic datasets on groundwater arsenic concentrations for aquifer systems throughout the world into a single database with a consistent format. Geochemical, geostatistical, and geospatial analyses will use the dataset to assess the factors and processes driving global variability in groundwater arsenic concentrations.
