Description
The US Geological Survey, National Geospatial Program is offering a funding opportunity to a Pacific Northwest Cooperative Ecosystems Studies Unit partner for the update of surface water features in ongoing update projects and to develop a statewide hydrography acquisition plan. This opportunity provides support for the coordination and administration of NHD updates in Alaska. The opportunity will support the development of a Statewide Hydrography Update Implementation plan that will integrate activities of multiple state and federal agencies. This opportunity will also be to oversee the completion of updates and entry into the database. The recipient will manage the AK Hydro database, data submission and perform data QA/QC prior to submission to the NHD. Specific tasks as indicated below will be completed by project personnel.
