The purpose of the program is to support mentoring and research education activities that enhance the diversity of the NIDCR research workforce by establishing long-term mentoring that will enable junior investigators who are underrepresented in the biomedical, behavioral and clinical sciences to develop a research program and obtain NIDCR funding
