ArchivedGolden Field Office
Description
The purpose of this modification is to extend the response deadline to January 18, 2019. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) Bioenergy Technologies Office (BETO) is requesting information on research opportunities related to outdoor algae research, biomass characteristics and feedstock performance, and renewable energy from urban and suburban wastes to help inform its research priorities and funding strategies. BETO seeks information to help inform its research priorities, as part of its annual planning process. The purpose of this RFI is to solicit feedback from industry, academia, research laboratories, government agencies, and other stakeholders to help ensure research areas are relevant, timely, appropriate for federal government funding, and aligned with Administration priorities. This is solely a request for information and not a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA). No funding applications are being accepted in response to this RFI. Specifically, BETO is seeking information related to the following three topic areas: 1) Outdoor Algae Research; 2) Biomass Characteristics and Feedstock Performance; and 3) Renewable Energy from Urban and Suburban Wastes. Please see the full Request for Information (RFI) DE-FOA-0002020 at https://eere-exchange.energy.gov/.
