Description

To promote women’s safety and empowerment in rural and semi-rural areas by organizing and implementing a travelling film festival focused on women’s issues in semi-urban areas near three secondary or tertiary cities in western India. The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Consulate General in Mumbai (PAS Mumbai) seeks proposals for a project entitled “Travelling Film Festival for Women’s Safety and Empowerment.” Under this project, a grantee will organize and implement two-day film festivals in semi-urban nears near three cities in the U.S. Consulate western India region (Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra).
