FY19 Region 6 Aquatic Invasive Species

Archived

Fish and Wildlife Service

Description

The Mountain Prairie Region U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Fish and Aquatic Conservation Program and its partners recognize that we share responsibilities for preventing and controlling the impacts of aquatic invasive species (AIS) on fish and other aquatic resources, and success is contingent on partnerships that cut across jurisdictions. The Mountain Prairie Region covers the states of Colorado, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming. The Mountain Prairie Region also works with other Western states and partners through the efforts of the Western Regional Panel and with other Department of the Interior agencies through `Safeguarding the West from Invasive Species: Actions to Strengthen Federal, State, and Tribal Coordination to Address Invasive Mussels¿.
