Description

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) announces the availability of $2 millionin funding provided under the Public Transportation Innovation Program, asauthorized by 49 U.S.C. § 5312, as amended by the Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act(FAST), Public Law 114-94 (December 4, 2015). This is a national solicitationfor project proposals and includes the selection criteria and programeligibility information for Fiscal Year 2019 projects. The primary purpose ofthese competitively selected grants is to identify innovative solutions toreduce or eliminate human trafficking occurring on transit systems, protecttransit operators from the risk of assault, and reduce crime on public transitvehicles and facilities. Please NOTE: If the Congressional District(s) section of the Supplemental Form does not list the current Congressional Representative, in the drop-down list, for the Congressional District you select, please disregard the name listed and move forward with completing and submitting the Supplemental Form and application. The Supplemental Form listing the incorrect Congressional Representative name will not affect the evaluation of your application. Please be sure to select the correct Congressional District.
