ArchivedBureau of Ocean Energy Management
Description
The Office of Strategic Resources (OSR) of the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) is offering a 4-year cooperative agreement opportunity to improve their Pacific Region Geological & Geophysical (G&G) dataset. The dataset consists of a wide ranging mix of paper and electronic data from a variety of sources with disparate formats. The mission of BOEM is to manage the exploration and development of the nation¿s offshore resources in a way that appropriately balances economic development, energy independence and environmental protection through oil and gas leases, renewable energy, and minerals development. An improved G&G dataset can provide more accurate science-based decisions inside and outside the Bureau.
