Description
The NRCS - OklahomaState Office, an agency under the United States Department of Agriculture(USDA), is seeking support from and opportunities to partner with likemindednatural resource conservation partners. The overall intent of this solicitationis to solicit partnerships to help enhance the implementation of keyconservation objectives and priorities outlined further in this document. Proposals will be accepted fromeligible entities for projects located in Oklahoma. NRCS anticipates that thetotal amount awarded under this announcement in Federal fiscal year 2019 willbe approximately $150,000. Proposals are requested fromeligible Conservation Districts and federally recognized Native American tribalgovernments for competitive consideration of grant awards for one year induration. This notice identifies theobjectives, eligibility criteria, and application instructions. Applicationswill be screened for completeness and compliance with the provisions of thisnotice. Incomplete and/or noncompliant applications will be eliminated fromcompetition and notification of elimination will be sent to the applicant. The OklahomaState Conservationist reserves the right not to fund any or all applications.NRCS will accept applications under this notice for single year applicationssubmitted by eligible entities.
