Description
The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a financial assistance agreement to the County of Santa Barbara, Community Services Department under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 15.524, Public Law 89-72, (79 Stat.213), as amended particularly by Title XXVIII of Reclamation Recreation Management Act of October 30, 1992 (102-575, 106 Stat. 4690-4693, Section 2804). Total amount of the agreement is $442,300 with Reclamation providing $160,000 in Federal Funds for FY19. Under a managing partner Agreement, the County of Santa Barbara is responsible for administrating, operating, maintaining, and developing recreation land and facilities within Cachuma Lake Recreation Area. The purpose of the project is to produce design and engineering plans for the renovation and reconfiguration of the RV Park campsite to improve access and update the infrastructure of the facilities at Lake Cachuma Reservoir Recreation Area to meet the increase in recreational and of the public. (Refer to the Notice of Intent to Award Announcement No. BOR-MP-19-N005 for additional information). A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance agreement based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM2, paragraph 2.14 (B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
