Description

U.S. Geological Survey¿s (USGS) Great Lakes Science Center is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research on a project titled ¿Foodweb Dynamics in Western Lake Erie Associated with CSMI Sampling.¿ This research will provide insight about the environmental and biological conditions of Lake Erie during the Coordinated Science and Monitoring Initiative (occurring during 2019) and the effects of the changing ecosystem on the bioenergetics of walleye. These types of information are critical to managing conditions in Lake Erie and the recreational and commercial harvest of walleye.
