The statutory authority for theNIST Public Safety Innovation Accelerator Program is 15 U.S.C. § 3706 and 47U.S.C. § 1443.The NIST Public Safety InnovationAccelerator Program: Mission Critical Voice Test Equipment (PSIAP-MCVTE) isseeking applications from eligible applicants for activities to develop testequipment and associated code required to test communications devices, based on3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) standards, for mission criticalpush-to-talk technology (MCPTT) and related public safety features such asMission Critical Data (MCData) and Mission Critical Video (MCVideo). Thesegoals, and specific technical areas of research in the PSIAP-MCVTE program, arediscussed in detail in Section I.4. of this NOFO.
